I am a portrait artist, and art educator, based in South East England.

I work in pencil, oils and digitally. I have a popular Instagram and YouTube channel under my handle @katiemaeveart where I share my love of art and sketchbooking.

When creating portraits, my goal is to not just achieve a good likeness, but also to capture an emotion or moment in time so the portrait can tell a story and exist independently as an interesting work of art.
